Join Our Admissions Team and Make a Difference!

Jewish Care is seeking an Administrator to join our Admissions Team, which plays a crucial role in arranging admissions into our 9 care homes and 4 Retirement Living schemes. This is an exciting opportunity to support individuals and families through their journey into care, ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process.

This post is full time working a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week).

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support for care home and retirement living applications.
  • Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters, and financial documents in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal teams, prospective residents, and local authorities to ensure a seamless admissions process.
  • Maintain accurate records using Dynamics CRM and other systems.
  • Monitor and respond to enquiries via the Admissions team inbox.
  • Support strategic planning by assisting with data analysis and reporting.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare documentation, and minute-take for weekly panel meetings.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in administration within a health or social care setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Dynamics CRM.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong sense of confidentiality and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive information.
  • A commitment to Jewish Care’s values and providing an outstanding customer experience.

LocationMaurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus

The Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus is a modern, purpose-built development in Golders Green. It offers a balance of activities and relaxation for residents and visitors alike, as well as care and retirement living.

The campus is home to Otto Schiff care home, which provides personal care for people living with dementia. Residents at Otto Schiff get to live in a close-knit community while remaining part of the wider care home and enjoying the many campus activities.

There is a retirement community at Selig Court for people who want to live independently with the peace of mind knowing that there is always support close by. It also houses the bustling Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre and Holocaust Survivors’ Centre, as well as our head office Amélie House.
