Jewish Care is looking for an Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain high-quality reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, with Microsoft Fabric forming an increasing part of our data platform.
This mid-level role spans the full analytics lifecycle, combining hands-on technical delivery with close stakeholder engagement to ensure insights are reliable, accessible and valuable.
This post is full time working 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and Hybrid with an expectation of a minimum of 2 days onsite at our campus in Golders Green.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Design and maintain analytical data models in Microsoft Fabric
- Develop DAX measures, Power Query transformations and dataflows
- Contribute to ETL pipelines, including data ingestion and transformation
- Write SQL queries for data extraction and validation
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements and metrics
- Apply data visualisation and UX best practice
- Support testing, deployment and continuous improvement
About You
Essential:
- 2–3 years’ experience delivering Power BI solutions
- Strong DAX, Power BI data modelling and Power Query skills
- Experience with SQL-based data sources
- Understanding of analytical/dimensional data modelling
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows)
- ETL experience and data governance knowledge
- Power BI certification (PL-300) or willingness to work towards
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Health or social care sector experience
