About the role

This isn’t a typical care role.

As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll support tenants living in their own flats—helping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, you’ll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting tenants with personal care and daily living
  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
  • Building trusted relationships with tenants and their families
  • Supporting wellbeing through social activities and community engagement
  • Working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support
  • Keeping accurate records and using care planning systems

What we’re looking for

  • Caring, compassionate, and respectful
  • A great communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable supporting people with different needs, including dementia
  • Willing to learn and develop

Experience in care is helpful but not essential—we provide full training.

What makes this role different

  • You’ll support people in their own homes, not a care home setting
  • A strong focus on independence and choice
  • A real sense of community and connection
  • Opportunities to build long-term, meaningful relationships

What you’ll get in return

  • Full training and ongoing development
  • A supportive, friendly team
  • Opportunities to progress within health and social care
  • A role where you can make a genuine difference every day

Our purpose-built Sandringham campus offers care home, retirement living apartments and community centre services to enable clients, relatives, staff, volunteers and visitors to be able to share in this unique and vibrant set of communal facilities.

The Sandringham campus consists of Anita Dorfman House and Pears Court providing brand new facilities and quality care and retirement living in a modern, Jewish environment. Wolfson Assisted Living is situated on the top floor of Anita Dorfman and consists of dedicated one room flats for individuals and couples who want residential care with more room and kitchen facilities than a regular care home bedroom.

The campus also includes the Adrian Gordon Café, which serves delicious meals throughout the day, and the Ronson Family Community Centre, and the Zalman and Ruchi Noé Centre for People Living with Dementia. Sitting in green belt on the border between Hertfordshire and Stanmore, the Sandringham campus offers wide ranging career opportunities and compromises all our core services under one roof.
