About the Role

Reporting to the Digital Transformation & Change Manager, the Project Manager will work closely with Digital Transformation Leads to ensure our most challenging digital projects are correctly planned, monitored, and delivered. This role is not just about following processes; it is about immersing yourself in project details, removing barriers, and enabling success.

This post is working an average of 36.25 hours per week on a hybrid contract of 40% onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope, plan, and deliver digital projects aligned with our wider digital transformation strategy.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective capacity management of internal resources.
  • Lead projects such as finance system integration, e-rostering implementation, and software enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date project plans and ensure clear communication with key stakeholders.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders to ensure meaningful collaboration and efficient decision-making.
  • Oversee project governance, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with project methodologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Track project budgets and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Promote effective project management methodologies and act as an ambassador for digital transformation across the organisation.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within private or not-for-profit organisations.
  • Solid experience managing IT-based projects, including infrastructure and software development/deployment.
  • Strong technical expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • Relevant qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with a track record of delivering digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in business change initiatives and full project lifecycle management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to manage complex relationships.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Trello.
  • Practical knowledge of business change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model).
