Shape the future of procurement at one of the UK's leading health and social care charities.

At Jewish Care, every purchase has a purpose.

As the largest health and social care charity serving the Jewish community in London and the South East, we support over 12,000 people every week through our care homes, community centres, mental health services, social work, retirement living and family support services.

  • Drive commercial value, measurable savings and continuous improvement across all areas of spend.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships while ensuring robust contract management and performance monitoring.
  • Develop procurement policies, governance frameworks and controls that support compliance and reduce organisational risk.
  • Use data, market insight and supplier intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and improve commercial outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a specialist procurement team, creating a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
  • Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to strengthen procurement capability and embed best practice.

About you

You'll be an experienced procurement leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivering results.

You'll bring:

  • MCIPS qualification (essential).
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Significant senior procurement experience across a broad range of direct and indirect spend categories.
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable commercial savings and value.
  • Experience leading strategic sourcing, category management and supplier relationship programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement governance, contract management and risk management.
  • Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
  • The ability to build relationships, lead change and inspire confidence across a complex organisation.

Experience within healthcare, social care, hospitality or another service-led environment would be advantageous.

Why join Jewish Care?

This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in an organisation where commercial decisions directly support the delivery of exceptional care and community services.

You'll be joining a collaborative leadership team committed to innovation, continuous improvement and delivering the very best outcomes for the people we support.

In return, we offer a rewarding career alongside a competitive benefits package, including:

  • 20 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), increasing with length of service.
